Wasn't too hard just took some time. The grille will be a PITA if you do not have the FX4 style grille btw. I had a little incident with the Ford logo taking it off, so I will need to epoxy some bolts on it and get back to you guys later. It does look a lot better in person I think and I will try to get some night pics, but I have to aim the lights today because I tried them out last night and they were all over the place

It is a clean way to add additional functional lighting. That makes it good in my book.

I think it looks great. That is the grill I have been wanting. So why would it be a problem if you don't have the FX4 grill? I don't know what grill that is in my 06 STX

 

Basically you cut the H bar out and remove the honeycomb by unsnapping the clips. On the STX grille, you have to cut every single little part of the honeycomb out, then you have to grind spacers to the exact curve of the base surround so the new grille fits in. It is possible, just a PITA it looks like. I would go for it the grille is sweet I'll get some more pictures today and tonight and post them up later

 

Just a thought, but maybe its a STX grill? Sorry couldnt resist. Could be a FX4 grill for all I know.

 

It looks good but I agree you should consider getting an 06+ bumper with the round fog lights. Also, you can use two-sided body tape to mount the Ford logo.

Sorry no more pics at the moment, but the Ford logo is back on and I am going to keep it that way As for night pics I am not sure when I will get them either tomorrow or sat night depending on when I can adjust the lamps correctly All in all I really love this grille so far
