If you had 10k to spend on mods, what performance mods?
What performance mods would you do. I have a 06' XLT reg cab 5.4L 3:55 LS 4x4 w/11.5K miles. Or would you spend another 10K and get an Lightning. I sure do miss my old one

wow, you'll get 100's of opinions here.
trade it in for an FX4 w/ 4.10 gears, leather trim captain chairs and center console. Add a 2.5" AS and 1.5" AAL. New rims and 325x60x18 BFG AT's. Then get a TP stage II package and dyno tuned. Can't have a 4x4 truck and not be able to tow...
I'm assuming "L" is a lariat ? I traded in a loaded 05 for an 06 FX4.

I would pull the rear lift block out, put some nice rims and tires on there, and twin turbocharge the thing...
You still have 4-hi for some consistant launches at the strip, and a nice looking truck that would haul *** (and anything else you feel like).
When I have a lot more money, my suspension is finished and my transmission is built I am going to get to work on my twin turbo 5.4L. I am shooting for 500rwhp and 550-600ft/lb. The use of Garrett GT2871 turbos should provide nearly instant boost, and reach my power goals at about 8psi on pump gas! Then there is the race gas tune, and 750rwhp potential at 14psi...
