Window won't roll down?

Ok so i've looked around at the window regulator threads and noticed that the majority of them talks about the window not rolling up and the buttons working but no window movement. In my case the window is stuck up (lucky for me) and wont roll down? my switch doesnt even move down or up, it feels jammed or something? Just a few months ago my rear window was stuck down and the switched worked and i could hear the motor moving. anyhow took it to the dealer and it was the regulator, cost was $380.. ive read some threads on here of a few people doing this themselves. seems pretty straight forward. i would much rather spend $150 for the regulator and do it myself this time around but am worried that it might not be the regulator because of the button being stuck? thanks for any info in advance!!

also unlike the rear window the driver window did not make a popping soundbefore the window got stuck in the up position? it would take 2-3 clicks down on the switch for the window to roll up but would always go down on the first click. so im wondering if this still could be the regulator even though there was no popping sound?

anyone? after searching some threads it sounds more and more like the window switch? ($50 part) if i plan on doing this on my own how long is the process? does the door panel need to come off? its only the driver window switch so not sure if its a direct part for that particular switch or if i need to mess with the others as well?

I have an 05 screw and I had the same thing happen to mine. It took spells where it did not seem like it was going to come up but finally would. Went out to go to work and switch is locked up , cant hardly move it. Mine just came in, got it from Tasca ford on ebay , bout 50 bucks so not too bad . Boyd

All the window switches are together for this one part, so you dont have to worry about which one to change. Door panel will have to come off, not too bad be careful with plastic clips. Boyd
