Took mine apart a couple weeks ago, wrapped the pegs w/ velcro and no problems now. Took about 10 min. If i was to do it again though, i'd probably place a long strip of velcro on the area where the pegs are inserted, cuts slits for the pegs rather than putting the velcro on the actual ash tray. But it works and i'm psyched. Thanks for the help.

 

I like how my 05 didn't do this and my new 08 has the dang ashtray rattle. You would think they would have fixed it by now. . .
