Hey everyone...

So I ordered some LEDs from v-leds.com.

Shipping was very fast. Problem is, I ordered 3 bulbs (Dome, 2 Maps) and the 2 maps are incorrect.

The dome light didn't fit perfectly, but when I squeezed the connecters, it fit rather well.

As for the Maps... I'm kind of lost. They looked like the exact same light as the Dome (This is a 05 Supercab, so the 2 map lights are located in the same unit as the dome.)


Does anyone know if it is the same light?

 

Your map light should look similar to the dome light except that they are a wedge style bulb. Can you post a picture of the maps or a link to v-leds, to show what you actually ordered. Don't worry on the rear "fuse" type bulb, I had to tighten my connectors also to get it to work.

For the maps I ordered the same bulb as you except they were 9 led I believe. Are the bulbs you bought just two big?

No, completely wrong connection type.

The maps I need have the same connections as the dome light.

 

That's weird. I thought all map lights needed a wedge style bulb. Could you post a picture, I have never heard of anything like you are describing on the new trucks.
