Wet Okole seat covers over leather seats

I just purchased a 2008 F150 Limited. Do you think installing wet okole seat covers will do anything to the leather seats? I have never had leather seats in s truck, so I am not sure if covering them will do anything to them..such as wrinkles or not letting them breathe, etc. I hate to cover those beautiful seats up, but sometimes children can wreck havoc on seats...last truck I had my daughter threw up on them 2 days after i bought it! Thanks for any input.

Most leather seats have a plastic coating...not sure about the limited. My KR does not have the coating. I am curious as to what others say.

If i could add up all the coffee, Soda, food, puke, beer, mud and other stuff that has been on my leather seats, and then showed them to you, you wouldn't believe me. They hold to spills really well. At least mine do.

i talked to one of their reps once and they said that the covers can be made with a special backing that will not ruin leather seats. keep in mind this was a while ago so it might or might not be available

I was thinking about this too for the back seats to keep the dog's nails from messing the seats up. I've already got a nice scratch and don't want more. Wouldn't you have to take the covers off to condition the leather? This is my first time having leather too.

Leather holds up really well to just about anything. I had leather for 2 years in my mustang, god it looked beautiful after you condition them and they shimer in the light. nice and slippery smooth too. I would never cover up a leather seat with a set cover. unless i had a dog that rides up front, but my dog rides in the back.

just my .02

The Wet Okole seat covers are awesome.. Not sure how they are over leather, but there great with spills, dogs, mud, and just everyday use... I've had mine for about 1.5-2yrs now and they still look just as brand new as the day my buddy gave them to me when he sold his truck.

Buy them, there worth it!!

I have the Wet Okole middle/jump seat cover if anyone is interested...
