Road Hazard
Road Hazard
So I'm driving along and here a loud bang... rear passenger tire immediately went flat.
Check it out... kinda gives a new meaning to the words Road Hazard.

Punctured the tire, caught and flung up shattering the wheel well and lodged up underneath my bedrail.

Anyway, how much you think to fix... the side of the bed is pushed out a little... can they fix that in fiberglass? I would think the actual puncture wouldn't be too difficult to mend but the dent worries me.

One good thing about fiberglass is that it is relatively easy to repair. A pain, but easy.
Had something similar many years ago. Punctured the tire, came up and hit the side of the bed and put a dent in it. That was a baling hook.

Ummm color me confused, when did they start making the beds fiberglass? I thought they was sheet metal. Or is that just on the flaresides?
Fiberglass isn't too hard to repair but it needs to be warmer if you're in a cold location. I'd just have the insurance cover it .
I do love that hood too. I've been debating on getting one but i think my guard would interfere.
