Not too shabby. I am getting about 250 or miles so on roughly the same amount of fuel. I am lifted 6" with 35" mud tires and stock 3.55 gears though (for now). I think when I re-gear I will be getting a little bit better.

I think he means the flow thru shifter. In the pic you can still see the 4wd dial on the dash.

4.10's is a new one. I didn't think that Ford offered the 4.10s in these truck unless it was a heavy duty version.

nightranger, what is the axle code on the door?

Was the 4.10's dealer installed or were they put in on the assy line? Just asking cause I have never seen a nbs fx4 with factory 4.10's

I just built a scab with 4.10's in XLT and 4x4. Cant with a screw. Now whats the logic behind that?

17, thats T-shirt weather just run out and take a look It was -33 air temp this morning here, with wind chills of 40-45 below

If you could post that tomorrow it would be great, I have a buddy looking for a new F150 he was thinking of going with a HD package to get 4.10's, but if he can get them in a reg F150 I am sure that he would go that route. This way I could just give him an axle code to look for at the dealership.

i took out a light and checked, the door says B5 and the tag on the axel says 4:10ls. i assume it's from the factory and not the dealer. if it was from the dealer would they not have told me so. oh, btw the window sticker says 4:10 w/tow pkg.
