Bumper is a beast...whats the need for the hood protection? Its not going to protect against a hail storm....but I do think it will help if you hit a flying cow.

I think nearly every lifted truck sits *** heavy until it's brought back up. Least everyone I've seen.

LMFAO! I take it you are not a bro, and you deeply resented my asking...

So...are you a bro?

...

I just learned about them, do they take bro status seriously? I'm going to pismo soon, the idea I have of a bro is an immature group of guys who sock each other in the nuts, drink beer and talk smack with their 'bro's'. Maybe I just heard greenbrier's song too much.

Josiah is right. "Bros" make everyone who owns a lifted truck look bad. They do stupid SHlT and think they are gods gift to everyone. I am not that. Yes, I like the desert, yes, I have a lifted truck but I am not a "bro" nor ever will be! Thanks.

I assume you don't have a problem with people pulling over for you when they're going too slow in the Left Lane..

Sweet truck man!

I too would like to know what purpose the hood protection serves.

I'm going to wrap the hood gaurd in high strength rope before storm season. That will help protect the hood from tree branches and what ever else comes at me. Plus the rope will come in handy if a tornado hits anything. Then when I get ready I am going to design an attachment cage that runs from a cab roof rack to the hood guard. That cage will have some louvers to deflect hail. Getting it built will be, well interesting, plus trying to keep it road legal. So that might be a few years.

What's the weight on the bumper and guard?

Cost?

I'm think of having something a little milder made for my truck at the local welding shop.
For cost you'll have to contact boondock and see what Anthony is charging. The weight is about 145 that is if the shipping company weighed the pallet it was on. Far as seeing it doesn't bother me at all. The first time it was like getting into a truck after driving a car so you get use to it pretty quick.
