Jack
Where can I get a stock jack and crank (to lower spare?) I could buy hi-lift jack, but still need the crank to get spare down. Anyone have any ideas, besides the junk yard? I have an 04scab , with a 6" Pro Comp and 35" tires, thanks!

Just go to your local auto parts store and buy a bottle jack or a scissor jack. Personally, I have a floor jack, scissor jack, and a bottle jack in my truck.
(Of course I've got a truck box, where I keep 1/4 of my tools in... the other 3/4 of the tools reside in 1 garage and 1 barn. :fyi: ) |

I bet there is a price diference from the Ford house. |
Manual,
I have several jacks in the garage also, I was mainly worried about the crank to get the spare down....I have a box in my bed also and I am going to put either a hi-lift jack in it or a bottle, but still need the crank |
I'm not a fan of those factory spare tire carriers personally. Usually when you need your spare that carrier is broke and won't lower, or its rainy, muddy or snowy and your spare is a real mess to deal with. I would throw my spare in the box and lock it with chain and lock or a cable bike lock. You must not have a 35" tire for a spare if you have it riding in your carrier.

if you just need to take it down and then plan on throwing it in the bed you could always just go to a tire shop and they should have a tool to do it. the shop i used to work at had one made for all the different vehicles.
