No, it stopped my rear doors from rattling because they were previously loose. But i didnt have any problems getting the door panels on and its been about a year since i did it and they still fit good.

I did only because i read that the door had to be really clean before you put it on, so i pulled the plastic off which was, interesting lol...lets just say that stuff is on there pretty good and then cleaned all the metal with rubbing alcohol and let it dry and then started putting it on.

I have read that you should try and take the plastic off in one piece so you can lay it over the dynamat and draw out where to cut openings. I didnt though I just cut the openings that i knew the door panel had to use and covered the ones that it didn't.

I took pictures of the finished door but never uploaded them, ill post some pictures of the finished door on here tomorrow when i get home so you can get an idea of which holes you can cover up and which ones to cut openings for.

That looks familiar... I would be a happy man if I never had to do it again... and yes it does make a large difference. It reduces road noises and keeps vibrations down.

looks like a daunting task. I dont know how im going to push myself to take everything out to dynamat. But its going to happen, 100 sq ft of dynamat extreme will be going in, so i better keep an eye on how you do this...

So putting dynomat in all the doors reduces the annoying rattle that sounds like your door is going to fall of when you hit a bump? Would you mind doing a write up, I am seriously considering this but have no idea where to start. I definatly want new speakersbut not into the amp and bass. How is the sound quality dynomat vs no dynomat? Thanx for your time

the floor didn't make a big difference so I only used one layer, the back wal was suprising after two layers and 6 cans of expanding foam to fill the voids, the roof got three layers and reall helped give the truck a more solid feel, you can tell in the rain, no more ping, the front doors got around 25 sq ft ea if I remember right, I think it was like 4 layers on the exterior skin and 3 on the interior skin, I had a litttle bit of trouble getting the panel back on after three layers tho, the deadener replaced the plastic vapor barrier
