I was just trying to get a feel for those who would just loooove to take one of these shorties and turn it into a rocket ship.

After all, with the bed extender, it would serve a purpose for all of those who have troubles getting anything into their garage bay without a crowbar.

The shortest box you can get with the regular cab is 6-1/2 feet -- the 5-1/2 foot box is only available with Scabs and Screws......

Thats what I was thinking, unless its something with the FX2 though.

Reg Cab with the 5.5 bed would be teeny tiny....

That short of a wheelbase with a chitton of power and no wieght over the back wheels...could be interesting to drive

actually with the shorter wheel base you would have more weight on the back tires then a long truck

I can't understand the logic behind a 5.5' and 6.5' bed... just keep it at 6' feet even. Glad mine is a 8 footer... at least it is even...

i like the idea... i would love to see a 4x4 reg cab with a 5.5 bed a leveling kit and 33s... so basicaly my truck with a 5.5 bed maybe we can get the guy with the black reg cab fx4 on 35s to chop it for us, its probably as close as were going to get to seeing the real thing.
