woo....new mod - Silverstars

Well, i decided to use a $75 gift card to advance auto parts that i got from my birthday.

Look at what i got.

The installation was really easy. It took about 20 minute to do the headlights and fog lights. It has made quite a difference. These are really worth the money to me. They are not too bright, but bright enough. I can tell a big difference driving down the road....especially when i have my high beams on.

Here is a before shot of just the head lights

Here is an after shot...with the headlights and fog lights

I did the fog lights one at a time...and took pictures after getting just one in.

Here is the passenger side fog light before....

and then the driver side fog light after (you can see there is quite a color difference from the driver side to passenger side)

sweet, so no blue at all when on or off?

i was thinking about the SS turn signal bulbs, but some members have shown that they have a blue tint in the housing when off.

Wow, replacement lighting considering a modification...

In that case, i did this sick mod, I changed my oil filter over the weekend. Yeah it is bad *** and filters my oil so much better than the old filter.

Looks good! I like the silverstars for what little extra light they provide, but have to say overall i was dissapointed. The fogs though are a great improvement even with the 9145's

Silverstar bulbs are like Rain-X....a product that is actually worth buying. Definitely easy to see the difference compared to the factory bulbs. I have used them on my other cars for a long time and they do make a difference.

No blue [RICE] tint whatsoever.

Just nice crystal clear white light.
