AS 2" kit plus Toyo AT's installed, before and after pics...
 

Finally got around to installing my AS 2" kit. Did it myself in about 2.5 hrs total. VERY happy with the 2" kit. Truck sits very slightly lower in the front now, which is exactly what I wanted.

Also had a new set of 275/70/18 Toyo Open County AT tires put on. I debated this size vs the 285/65/18, and again am very happy with my choice. The 275's are about 33.2" tall vs the 285's are only 32.6".

I bet that rubber would show a lot better in the pics if you hit em with some tire dressing. Lord knows mine would... :-P

looking good. I have a set of Toyo MT on order for my 2005 SC XLT with the facotry 18" rims on it. Also a set of Rancho quick Lifts to give it that awesome look. I will try to post some picts once all the parts are in and installed. You should really like those Toyos in the winter. They are very popular here in Alaska with the guys that want a year round tire on their truck/suv instead of using winter studs.

Thanks for the comments! I am loving the new look, and am looking forward to the first snow here so I can really try them out.

The tires really need some dressing now. I've been playing in a little mud since these pics were taken :rocker: Once I get it all cleaned up again I'll get some better pics in my gallery.

How do those tires ride? I have been looking around at those for a while. They are E range tires made for a dodge, I believe. They seem to be a good fit for a leveled truck.

Any plans for a gear swap?

The ride at first was horrible, but thats because the installer had them at 75psi!!! Once I got home I dropped them to 45psi and the ride is much improved. A little harsher than stock, and I may drop back to 40psi and see how that goes. My wife didn't comment on the difference, so its certainly nothing too bad.

No plans for a gear swap. I have 3.73's stock, so with the 33.2" tire it effectively dropped me to about a 3.61 ratio compared to the stock 32.1: tire. Not even noticeable to me.
