Going to hook up the trailer tomorrow and test them out!

Not exactly. Are you referring to a slammed/bagged truck that will lay frame? That is a totally different setup but same principle. An air bag in between the axle and frame to alter the height/load capacity with different pressure of air.

i just pruchased a set of these waiting for them to come in.. if i keep the bags at 5 pounds will it maintain the stock height? i leveled the front and when im not towing id like to keep the back level like it was? also how do you know how much psi you should inflate in the bag when you have a trailer on the back? is there a scale?

5psi will keep it right around stock height, its not enough psi to change it. It check the pressure you can either mount gauges inline, run airlines to the cab and mount them there, or just use a tire gauge to check the pressure. When I am hauling or towing heavy i usually just inflate the bags until the truck is back to level, check the pressure with a tire gauge and inflate the other side to the same psi.
