I bought them off of Ebay for $119 with free shipping. The kit is made by Xentec.

HID-SIN.com, a little pricey but your getting REAL kits. That's where I used to get all my replacement HID bulbs, good customer service and fast shipping.

EDIT: Go with McCullochs, I've had 6k, 8k and 10k McCullochs and not one problem with either set.

I believe I have a pic in my gallery of the 10k

 I'm sure McCullochs are better than any brand that ebay sells.

yeah probably but honestly there is nothing wrong with these, they work the same and have the same light output, and me personally i would rather spend less money on something so that i can buy other stuff too

www.xtralights.com is my choice. I have ordered about 3 sets for my bikes and I will soon be ordering a kit for my truck. These HIDs are pricey but if you look closey, their digital kit has 1 box (igniter and ballast in one) and its very thin. I have it on my bike and I love it.

etrevino103186 10-24-2007 03:04 PM

so are all hid's bi-xenons? what is a bi-xenon?

the true meaning of bi-xenon has lost its meaning, it really refers to cars that come with two xenon bulbs per headlight. but now people use bi-xenon to refer to hid bulbs that have both high and low beams, normal hid's only have one beam, there are a couple different ways people make hi/lo hid's one way is they make a bulb with an hid bulb and a halogen bulb (you can usually get either the hid or the halogen in either position hi or low), there are some people who put two hid bulbs on one bulb but those are hard to find and would require 4 balasts, then there is the way that i have where there is a magnet in the bulb and when you flip the highs on it actually moves the bulb up higher

what kind of life expectancy do these have and how do yall think they will work with an fx2 headlight?? (cut off and glare)

well hid's are supposed to last 5 times longer then halogen, and even if it does burn out the bulb itself without the balast is cheap to replace

my lo beams have a destinctive cutoff
(crappy cell phone pics)

ive gotten flashed a few times for them but that is because the lights were never reaimed after i droped my truck so my lights are aimed way high

McCullochs are suppose to out last your vehicle. As for glare they're just like any other headlight, your still gonna have it.
