jimc I would keep it on brother. It really sets your truck off nicely.

I just looked at my Honey Comb grill this past weekend in the box and it doesnt look bad at all but cleaning in all those little holes sucked

I didn't know that. I have never really looked at one closer than about 30ft away, about all that I kow about them is that they have the honeycomb design. All my buddies with F150's either have FX4's or lariats.

This is the reason that I was thinking that the XLT grille was the same color plastic that FX4 and FX2 grilles are.

honeycomb grills are dark grey plastic. They ARE NOT black!

Get a paintable surround. That rousch grille is great, but the Chrome surround just kills the look.
