Out of curiousity... is it in a well-shaded location?

We've tried growing them, and they wouldn't hold up. Do you use any special fertilizer?

Actually... we've had a variety of bushes and trees as of late, that are not holding up. It took us 4 trips to Home Depot for a small weeping bush for our front yard. Personally... I think it's these chain stores, because we bought a few trees and bushes from a local grower, and they seemed like they had no problems. I guess it really does depend on where you get your plants.

No - but if you are serious, I'll get it from the crawl space and take one. It was on my XLT until I installed K-R power folding mirrors. Just bumped it a few times. I used the glass & turn signal to repair the new mirror after a streetlight poll issue.

Yes. Let's take it to PM so we're not clogging the message board.

It's not well shaded. Very few of our Rhody bushes are. I think Oregon is the Rhody capital of the world. I grew up new Florence, OR. We had an annual Rhododendron festival (hence the reason I actually know how to spell it!). Caring for them is pretty easy - in fact, I don't do a thing except prune after the blossoms die.

This particular bush is adjacent to the driveway. On one side is a holly tree, on the other is a cedar tree shaped into more or less a shrub to block my view of the neighbor's hideously unkept yard. I love the rhody - it's one of about 10 we have in our yard. So the truck (and the 24' trailer for that matter) and the rhody need to learn to co-exist. Here is a picture... (still working on attaching an image, sorry)

You should try TascaFordParts.com as well. Their prices are usually the best around.
