Thumbs up New Magnaflow and RokBlok

Hey Guys,

Thought I would share a couple new mods with you. I had a shop swap the factory muffler with a 5x11x22 (14-586) and a slash tip (35205). The muffler exhibits a nice mellow start and rumble on takeoff. Absolutley no drone on the highway, even up hills, very quiet. Basically, you hear it when you want to and on take off. I estimate 10-15% louder than stock and I expect it to become a bit louder. Pics below, not the best angle but all I could do today.

Also, I had a place in CT install RokBlok on the front bumper and grill surround. I took a couple pics but you really cannot tell it is there. The material is a clear 3M tape, as many of you know. The film is cut on a plotter and put on sort of like tinting. It is on the upper and lower bumper surfaces and coverage is almost 100 percent. I just thought I would share.

Looking Good. That Maggy will get louder with a little time too.

Where did you get your RokBlok? I would love to have something like that on my front end.

The RokBlok was put on at XXtuning in East Hartford CT. Another names it goes by is Xpel, Scotchcal (3M). I am sure there is a dealer around your area that will do this. It is pretty tuff stuff and carries a 5 year warranty against craking, peeling, and yellowing.

Thanks for the info. Is it kind of softer stuff, or a little harder? I travel down a lot of gravel roads and Im still leary of that stuff getting beat up eventually by endless amounts of rocks...

I would say, when dry, it is like window tint, simialr to that. It will take some abuse I am sure. When tint is dry it is on the hard side, this, to me, is similar. I recommend, plus it has a 5 year warranty.
