Howdy! New member with a New truck!
Hey everybody, just thought I pop in and introduce myself. I have been lurking around here for a couple months now getting ideas and learning about these trucks, and this past weekend I pulled the trigger and got one.
I picked up a 2007 FX4 5.4 SCREW. I have had it for three days now and have just over 100 miles on it, and I love it!
I got it mainly as a commuter and to tow my Ranger around (pictured).
So, hopefully I'll be here a while, mostly as a lurker, and please forgive my stupid noob questions in advance. I've spent many a years on Ranger-Forums learning about the Ranger, now I get to learn about the F1.
Thanks for having me!

The Ranger is a 1999 4.0 4-Door 4wd.
I have the Dixon Bros Racing Long Travel kit on the front with a single 2.5" coilover and 2.0 hydraulic bump stop at each corner.
The rear is a Giant Motorsports 4-Link with a Ford 9" axle complete with a Strange Nodular housing, 4.56 gears, Detroit Locker, 35 Spline axle shafts, and Explorer disk brakes. The rear, for now, is running a single 2.5" coilover and 2.0 bump stop like the front. Also in the rear I have a 22 gallon Jaz fuel cell. All the tube work in the rear is 1 3/4" .120 DOM tubing.
The front is bumped/strapped at 14" of travel and the rear is bumped/strapped at 28" (though its capable of 37").
Now that I have a new Daily Driver the next step is a full interior roll cage.
All the work on the truck was done by me, in my driveway.
It's a really fun truck, just not so good for street use anymore - thus the new F-150...

Yup. They were the only dealership around that treated me with any kind of respect, well the salesman I dealt with did anyway. And it didn't hurt they had the truck I wanted with the options I wanted (and didn't want).
