04 f150 amp to fac.HU
hey all, im just got a JL 10" sub with Memphis amp.. i got every thing hooked up except the line out converter.. It is a Scoche and has 1 Black wire coming out of it.. how do i install this.. do i tap in behind the HU? if so which wire or wires? on the converter there are numerous little screws for wire i guess?? do even need to use these?? thanks Mike
ok, i got everything hooked up.,. i tied in the line out converter to the left and right rear speakers.. but im only getting a veryy veryy weak signal to the sub.. you can feel it barely moving,. and you cant here anything,, any suggestions to what else i need to..... come on experts i know you know!!

i dont really know what to do for you since you dont have the factory sub wires, but you should probably go to the dealership and see if they can help you get low signal from your HU.
The Black Wire Needs To Be Grounded, Then You Need For Left Speaker Into Either The Front Left Or Rear Speaker And For Right On To The Front Or Rear Right Speaker

i have the black wire grounded, i only have 1 10" sub... i have the line out converter hooked to the left rear and the right rear from back of head unit.. should i uses the front speakers instead?? i dont know what else it could be? my friend had it all hooked up in his ford and he didnt have factory amp wires..
I hooked mine up to the rear speakers and it sounds fine. Did you make sure that you ran the wires into the rear speaker inputs of the line convertor and not into the front inputs. Another possiblility is the gain on the line convertor isn't turned up enough other than that im not sure what could be the problem.
