I was looking at my tool box today, uws black, and I noticed the black was starting to crack. There are two bad spots and when I rub my hand across it I can feel where it's starting in other places. I went to UWS's website and I couldn't find any thing about a warrenty. Is this normal or do I need to call someone? By the way, it's only about a year and a half old.

 

Anybody run into this yet?

I haven't contacted uws or the place I got it yet. I plan on going by where I got it today, but it was late when I noticed it last night. I couldn't find anything about a warrenty last night on the toolbox from uws either.

I mainly wanted to see if anybody else has had this happen.

 

Mine has started to crack as well. Not sure what caused it. I have not contacted UWS due to the location of where I'm at (Iraq). When I get back, I'm gonna get ahold of them and go from there. If you find anything out, let me know if you could.

 

I just got off the phone with UWS. They told me that they had a problem with their black tool boxes over a year ago and they extended their warrenty over a year. They said just contact who I got it from and if I have any problems to call them and they'll straighten it out.
