Got the OTC6900 tool from them too.

Next time ya want plugs, I can save ya around 8 bux from Carquest then

I should be able to get them for roughly the same price from the dealer.

Have you had to use your tool?

Actually, make it 10 bux. I forgot about taxes
So there's that 6 pack of that Corona crap for you

I think Carquest quoted me somewhere around $110 for the tool, but my memory is vague on that part. I toldem, the tool I have now may not be big, but it sure is pretty :o I was definitely told $12.xx for the plugs though.

The clearance should be tight, and were designed that way on purpose. Opening them up would create a larger air gap for more carbon and other deposits to build up in. It would also decrease the contact area with the heads and kill your heat transfer. That being said, the design also intended for Ni anti seize to be used, which was recommended to Ford be the plug designer/manufacturer.

Yes, and don't you think that Ford designed the heads as well as the plug needed and went to Autolite and said, here is what we want. Autolite probably said, that really needs to be welded but will cost more and Ford said, no, that costs too much, just press it on, that will work. Autolite then probably said, well, those clearances are so tight, you better put some nickel anti-sieze on there and Ford said, naw, that's baloney. That will add $5.31 to every engine, you are worrying too much. You just make the plug, we'll build the engines.

Finaly i get the Lobo again!

After 1 month and a few days at the dealer I have the truck with me. They can recover the plugs without pulling the heads using the ROTUNDA tool. they charge $5200 including tax ($5200 pesos ) something like US 405 + 15%tax

I have 1 day with my truck and i feel everything is ok.

Thanks for your opinions!
