On the financing contract you signed, did they just typo the interest rate or will the payment and total interest cost on the contract increase? If it does not change the payment or total owed, it really will not cost you to sign revised paperwork. If the numbers other than the rate change, and they somehow can force an actual higher interest rate and total interest charge, you have a legitimate reason to get out of the deal. They cannot change the terms of the contract without you agreeing.

The reality is they probably just need to get the paperwork cleared up before end of month so they can get their money to pay off their bank for the truck; you have some leverage so at least get a tank of gas out of the deal.

The engine problem is just bad luck; I had a new Jimmy spin a main bearing at ~ 300 miles. Truck was great after the motor was replaced.

Good luck!!

They kept it at .09%. They were actually wanting us to change up to the .9.
Itwould have increased the financing over 800 doolars through the course of the loan.
They rolled and stayed with the .09.

update

got the truck back Tuesday.
Tech said that the thrust washer was tottally ommitted at assembly.
They installed a new tranny (the old one I marked and the mark is not on this one, so it's new). Replaced the cooler and all related lines also. That indicates how severly it did trash itself.
We're going to Stillwater this weekend, so we'll see how it goes.

So the next day we go in and tell them "tough". We signed the contract in good faith so your stuck.

Blah...

Now to the rough driving part.
It started bogging down on the way to the dealership and after we were through talking to the sales people we took it back to the service department and left it. They call the next day and say there's nothing wrong so we drive it home and it's doing it again.
Back we go the next day and we have the tech drive it. Least to say it barely makes it back.
Ends up that a thrust washer shattered and the tranny is toast.

Karma's a B!TCH -ain't it
