Does the F150 7700 series exist for 2004 and newer?

I have a 2003 7700 series F150 4x4 XLT, and my Dad wants the same truck as I have other then newer if he can. As far as I can tell the 7700 series disappears once you hit 2004.

I know the f150 7700 series was the 250 light duty prior to 2000 then I loose track of it after 2003. I am guessing it was discontinued, but can anyone shed some light on it?

It's still around, they call it the Heavy Duty payload package now. Only available on XL's and XLT's with reg. or supercabs with an 8' bed. The package comes with 7 lug axles and wheels and 4.10 gears. You can get them in 2wd or 4x4's.

That would work for him. I dont think he would like the longbox with the supercab but I think he will take a regular cab.

Thanks now we have something else to watch out for, once I find him another truck he will stop making offers on mine

Build an XLT with an 8' bed on fordvehicles.com and you will see the heavy duty payload option on the last page.
