Hey everyone, i have a question...

After sitting in a 2007 FX2 with black leather interior i noticed they are A LOT SOFTER and more plush. is there an inexpensive way to soften up my leather seats in my 2005 FX4???

If you thought those were soft, sit in an 08 SD I wouldn't mind buying a pair for my truck........... probably around $1500 though

 

Saddle soap and a LOT of elbow grease...

 

Works well as a "softner."

In the F-150, there's at least two different leather interiors. The "Sport" leather seats are just that, sporty. But they are not particularly comfortable. Most 2005 leather interior FX2 & FX4's came with Sport leather seats.

The "Leather Trimmed" seats have quite a bit more padding and the leather is softer. They're all about comfort.

 

Ok, i meant to ask how can i make my seats more cushiony? The leather/pleather is fine, i use conditioner on them every 3 months or so. The seats i am referring to are the FX2 seats from a 2007 that have the red stitching and say "SPORT" on them. I noticed the 2007 Lariat seats are just as cushiony, so what i want to know is should i get them re-upholstered by a shop and ask them to add cushion or buy something from Katskins and add the cushion myself if possible??

Someone point me in the right direction and give me prices if you have had this done or you know someone...
