My buddy tried hauling the same load a few weeks back with his '06 Sierra. The weight pushed the bump stops right down onto the rear axle. He had to crawl along at about 30 MPH with the 4 ways on to get it home.

Never think having a concrete patio is going to save you from the hauling power of a F150.
I installed an Air Bag system on the rear of my F150 with the help from a customer who designs these systems for OEM & aftermarket use. (Bridgestone/Firestone R&D Dept) In addition to the tough stock suspension, this system allows me to level the rear suspension from the cab or remote in case of a failure someplace. It utilizes an onboard compressor & holding tank stainless braided teflon hoses. I also have the tank outfitted to run air tools.
I pull an enclosed 16ft double-axle car hauler about a dozen times or more a year that is extremely tongue heavy. I also use a weight distibuting hitch to throw some of the weight back to the trailer. The truck & hitch combination worked ok, but felt the need to give it a little help. Depending on the load now, I usually don't use the distributing hitch.
The 4.6 pulls this trailer down the highway with no problems. I've had the bad fortune of having a few Chevy trucks, both with a 350ci that had problems towing the same trailer. The Triton V8 and suspension were a big advantage over the other guys..

Did anyone else check out that youtube video?
That was amazing, especially how badly the Tundra did on the test track. That thing was flopping like a bass out of water...
