Face Lift?

Alright guys, I'm coming to you for more advice once again. I'm getting bored with my truck and need to do something to it. I'd really like to do HIDs but I've told myself no with the Chrome housing, only with Black headlights. So, I was thinking of going with the Hella Black headlights, HD tail-lights, the Recon LED 3rd Brake Light, and the N-Fab steps in Black. What do you guys think? . . and where can I find this stuff the cheapest? As well as the HIDs?

Thanks in advance!

I was thinking about doing the same, but wondering what was better. Hella or HD headlights with the HID's

Minor details go a long way and i think the black headlights and tails will look pretty bada$$. I know F150store.com sells the tinted tails and headlights, but everyone always suggests to buy them off e-bay. I know getfordparts.com has the HD tails too and for pretty cheap. Im going to be getting the HD tails too when i comeback from my trip. So if you get them let us how much and where.

I've heard the Hellas have a better cut offs than the Harley's.

Also, what should I do with my toolbox if I do this? Keep it? Since I'm going to have chrome wheels, chrome bumpers, and the chrome staps on my LT Handles, and badges. . or should I do a Black toolbox? . . or just get rid of it all together?

PS: I just ordered the Recon 3rd Brake Light. It was $100 shipped from their website. I probally could of found it a little cheaper but oh well. .

I would keep your toolbox. I think that the color matching mods and the chrome you already have will look sweet. I like a truck with a nice balance of chrome and painted or color matched parts.

I think what I'll do is stick with the toolbox until I can get enough money for a SnugLid SL.

. . I hate the modbug. :o

PS: I found the Hella headlights for $270, can anyone find anything better than that?

Be sure to post pics of the LED brake light when you get it. That is something that I was thinking about doing.
