So im looking for a cover for the truck that folds to the front and I come across the extang solid fold. It also looks strong enough to stand on but not sure. So does anyone have experince with this cover, im just wondering the basics -does it leak,is it strong, worth the money, what you payed and so on.

I do not have this particular cover but I have a sof tri-fold cover and love it. It really has heald up nice and looks awsome too.

Entire tonneau weighs approximately 50 lbs., yet is rugged and strong enough to support an average sized 4-wheeler. (We've done it, but don't recommend trying this at home). UPS shippable

Just got an extang solid fold today. Compared it side-by-side to the fold-a-cover and k-cover. It was easier to install, easier to remove, supports more weight if necessary, and was cheaper than the others where I purchased it (Dave's Tonnos in Denver). I wasn't super concerned with water getting in the bed, more about cargo security and ease of removal since I have the short bed.

You can get a pretty good idea from their webiste- www.extang.com.
The aluminum top surface has a deep wrinkle finish if you can't make it out on the website. I'm going out of town so don't have time to post pics. Most extang dealers have a small display version.

 

Does this Extang folding cover lock up? That would be an important feature to me.
I have the roll up Pace Edwards. It locks up and it's a hardtop roll-up tonneau. It does leak a bit, but no complaints here.
