Lift is on! 6" w/ 35"s

So here she is... Kinda has a mild case of the droop ass. I want to pick up the rear to at least level, preferrably an inch or two higher than the front. Any suggestions (bigger block, add a leaf)?

All Procomp: 6" lift, extreme alloy wheels 7005 series (20" x 9.5" 5.25" BS) and 35" x 12.50" x 20" extreme MTs

That looks damn good!

ThumperMX113 07-21-2007 12:09 AM

I like it. Just don't lift the back up higher than the rear, no one likes stink bugs! LOL I really like the steps and the wheels! Good job.

I think PTM mirrors on your truck would look sick too!! :rocker:

PS: Do a add-a-leaf.

tardman91 07-21-2007 12:09 AM

Sweet! I LOVE those nerf bars. I wish I had some money for them, or that someone made cheap knock-offs. I'd go with an add-a-leaf in the back.

Sweet ass truck and definitely add-a-leaf. You can check my album as I have the same lift as you and I put the add-a-leafs on and it leveled it perfect imo. Measured from the top of the tire to the underside of the crest of the wheel lip molding it's 1-inch higher out back (12 inch vs 11 inch) but sitting flat the truck looks almost level and worked nicely pulling a boat plus a few hundred pounds of gear, etc in the bed. Didn't notice any change in the ride. Plus I also have the same 5-inch rapid hitch as you and thought it looked a little too low before. I was able to put it one notch from the bottom after.

Thanks for the compliments! So will the AAL give me another 2"? That should make it just a hair over level (no stink bug). I plan to get the mirrors painted pretty soon, but just the top part and not the whole thing. The bars weren't too bad ($300ish). Found them on Ebay and I am real happy with them. The only mod to them I did was in adding a little grip tape on the steps. Being powder coated, they were pretty slippery at first.

Blackdawg - I like the little bit of rake that your truck has. I'm gonna order the AAL ASAP. Thanks.

looks good

Looks awesome:thumbsup: Here is my 6" lift with a AAL and blocks.. My ass end is a tad bit higher than the front, I may get spacers up front to level it..

I wouldn't change a thing. That's just the stance I'm looking for.

That is damn fine lookin truck you got there!!! Of course I am kinda partial to that particular color combo. How do the extreme MTs feel on the road? Now that my extreme ATs are getting a little worn, those might be my next choice after gears and a lift.

Holy $h!t that is one awesome truck! That is the baddest F150 I have seen in a while. An AAL would add just what you want, but I don't I would not change anything. Awesome truck. Those tires look huge on that truck.

JBMX928 07-21-2007 02:02 AM

lovin that truck

I think the droop looks worse in these pictures...

When I go back to 4 wheel parts next week to have them double check all the nuts and bolts I'll get them to install the AAL. Then I'll post up a couple more pics. About the tires, I only have about 80 miles on them right now so I don't have a whole lot to say about them other than... they look cool, are non-directional (great for rotating the proper way) and make less noise than the pro comp X terrains I had on a previous vehicle, so if that helps at all...

Yeah, I see the droop in that second picture. Cute kid, by the way. I am still trying to figure out why the 35x12.5x20's look so much bigger on your truck than mine!:rocker:

I would guess that its becuse his truck is lifted and you truck is bigger:confused: I have the same brand and size tires on my truck as you have on yours. It could also be that that brand just looks bigger? His tires are the same size as mine and they look bigger....
