Or a guy if you are gay like freekyFX4.

Have you ever tried to hold 13 different things, plus run a ratchet, and have to be holding a damn flashlight at the same time because Ford is to damn cheap for a light. Would be a heck of a lot easier if they had a light, even if they arent that bright they are better then nothing.
Give me a break, is this the best reason you can come up with that's in favor of having an underhood light? I'm assuming that you don't have any lights in your garage? Here's the solution, buy a trouble light, plug it into the wall, you do have a wall right? One with a plug on it somewhere? Then lay or hang the light where you need it and go about your project.

Some are really into over-exaggerating things.

A good flashlight or two should be part of the kit kept in your truck anyways. The underhood light wasn't worth a flip if you actually had to look into some nook or cranny after sundown.

I have plenty of reasons...its not like Im complaining to you about it anyway.

If Im actually doing some major work then yes Ill get a friggin light, but if its something that about two seconds, like checking my oil maybe or any little thing, Im not going to **** around with a fuggin light for 5 minutes to do 1 minute of work or checking something. No need to preach to me about how to use a damn light, I know perfectly fine how to run one.
Have you ever had a vehicle with a light under the hood? Its actually a nice little convenience at some times if you actually work on your vehicles.

I have a Maglight and a 2 million candlepower spotlight in my truck too, so dont bish to me about getting a light either.

Some just cant understand the point of anything convenient

I dont understand why people are putting up such a fight on not having a frickin underhood light. Jesus! Its a light, its used to see in the dark or at night. If you would rather use up one hand with a flashlight then fine. It dosent make you less of a man to want to have a light under your hood. If you think like that then wth

How many of you carry a Maglite Baseball Bat... AKA 6 D CELL Maglight? I've got one and I've walked up to people's windows with it while they were sitting out in their car in the middle of the night. I've scared the crap out of people and friends.... That thing is sooo freakin' long!

You could always check the oil during the day as well which I'm sure is exactly what Ford was thinking when they got rid of the underhood light.

I have a light under the hood...

I don't, however, have lights on the visor mirrors... my friend's POS 1995 Jeep Cherokee with manual windows even has those...
