Good Plug Experience

Just had the dealership do the plugs at 30K, and there were no problems getting them out. The tech said that they were only tough for the first half turn, then the rest was easy. I didn't have my camera, but they were fairly dirty. I am only running an Airaid Jr on a stock tune, so not much in the way of changes. I am fairly confident that I will be able to change them at 60K without paying. Before we start another "before 100K debate", I plan on keeping this thing for 200K if possible. A well maintained vehicle is the key to longevity. Just thought that you guys would like to hear a "good" plug story more often.

Thanks for the info. I'll be talking to my dealer about replacing plugs in a couple of weeks when I hit 30k, so it's good to hear a success story before I go in.

How much were you charged to get them changed?

Out of shear curiosity what is the build date of your pick-em-up truck.

That's good. I had mine changed on a tsb at 24,000. They looked brand new. I drive a lot of highway miles.

I am going to ask the stealership about changing mine when I bring it in for a trans flush at 30k. I would try it myself but if they are going to break I want the techs breaking them instead of me.

What TSB? for the "plug problem" or for another issue?
