Installation is complete. Bags went on easy. had to massage the top brackets to fit the frame, but I hear that is common. The wiring and plumbing of the airline was the easy part of the project. I am impressed with the system so far. First test was 3000# of sand.... it was worth the price of the airbags and airsystem.

Load Test #2

2900 lbs of concrete blocks
The look on the forklift drivers face when it did not drop straight to the axles was priceless..

It takes about 15 seconds to go from 5lbs to 30lbs. Unloaded I run about 10-15lbs. I got it the kit from summit Firestone Ride Rite #FIP2350 and the On Board aircompressor system #FIP2097 it is rated at 100psi and if you are loaded and it takes 100psi to level your rig.. you are way beyond the limit of the truck.

I'm close to installing too. Any change in ride when empty. Can't go lower than 5 lbs right... (recommended)

I recently added 3" blocks to the rear of my truck and needed to remove the air bags until the spacers came in. With the airbags removed there is so much understeer. I want those spacers to come in ASAP

The will only stiffen the ride when you have 10psi or more in. And at 10 psi I could bearly tell the differance. I keep mine at 20psi basically all the time, I found that for the most part it is a good pressure for a combo for daily driving and hauling 1000-1200lbs, anymore weight than that and I pump them up more.

PHS79 is correct, I did not notice any difference until I got to around 20-25psi. that is until I went down a rough road The roads here are pretty smooth as a rule, I had 20-25psi in the bags and 65psi in the tires and no load. I cut across town and took an unfinished road, and damn near bruised my kindeys... 10psi in the bags and 30-40in the tires for me work unloaded.
