(First Post, Whoohoo) JLT Intake + SCT XcalII

Hello everyone, I just got an '04 FX4 last week. I love this truck and was wanting to mod it a little already. I was searching through the archives and didn't come up with anything on the new JLT Intake for 5.4 3 valves. Has anyone on here tried it? Thay claim like 30-40 rwhp with it + a SCT tune. I come from the 03-04 Cobra world so horse power is very addicting, lol.

You need to go over the the chips section and read up on Troyers tuning abilities befoe you waste your money on the JLT combination. Mike has done extensive R&D'ing on these trucks and is the best there is for tuning them.
(there was a post by "ski" last week in that forum regarding his use of the JLT set up that warrants reading).
Mke has tuned my Lightning, my '03 Cobra that ran 11.20's on his tune and a 4# lower pulley while Muscle Mustangs and Fast Fords was struggling to get one out of the 12's, and both of my F-150 tow vehicles.
AND, I am going down to the shop later this month and get my Roush installed and tuned !!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't say he's wasting his money on the JLT combo, the customer service seems great (he's a frequent poster here when needed) and the numbers were to boot.

Anyone can type in any numbers they like here. But when you personally see the difference between the JLT and AF1 on the same truck on a dyno you know the real facts.....But, your absolutely right that anyone can spend their money with whoever they choose...

I'd go with VMP Tuning, www.VMPTuning.com, and the S&B intake. I love mine.
