04 (2wd) Getting 4.10's What's the Spline?
 

I have an 04 Screw 4.6 (2wd)

I have done a search and cant not find the exact answer for this question.

I know I have an 8.8 Rear End, So I went to order the 4.10's and they asked the spline count. How do I determine that?

Using the search feature all I could come up with was the 4X4 trucks have 8.8's on the front with 28 spline count.

Just hoping someone can help me out soon, so I can get this thing order'd

I was advised that all the trucks had 31 spline axles.

Gear swap has nothing to do with splines... I'm not sure why they are asking... Unless you are changing out your diff to a LS unit.

31 spline is the answer you are looking for. I just finished doing the same mod and I finally called the dealer and obtained the correct response. You will like the upgrade.
