Extended Warranty

Who has a FORD extended warranty? Where did you get it? Is there a good place online to get FORD factory (not anybody else) extended warranty? Thanks

And - no - I'm not interested in debating the extended warranty issue. I definitely want one.

If your have your vehicle registered at the fordvehicles.com, you can check the different extended warranties they are offering. Just cut and paste the link. You can get it through the dealership too.

I have the PremiumCARE Extended Service Plan. Mine has a $100 deductible and covers "everything" (until I try to get something fixed...) up to 100k mi or 5 years. It's fully transferrable if I ever sell the truck, or i can cancel it if the buyer doesn't want to pay what I want.

I bought the ESP at signing, I believe it's sticker price is $1999, but he massaged it for me to make it $1819. My fanincing guy at the dealer told me that if you don't buy it at signing, you can buy it anytime you want before the factory warranty runs out, but of course you have to buy it outright and it can't be tacked onto your original financing- which makes sense.

They have a bunch of levels of coverages, mileages and deductibles and dissappearing deductibles depending on how much you want to pay for it.
Check out http://www.fordesp.com/default.asp to get a bunch of details about coverages and whatnot.

But you have to buy it BEFORE the factory warranty runs out!
Have Fun!

Oh yeah, and you should be able to go to the financing department at your dealership to get it, if not, they'll shoot you in the right direction.

www.fordwarrantys.com had the best price when I bought mine. If you request a quote they usually have a promotion going on where they will send you a coupon code for a discount if you purchase one.
