Inexpensive windshields...?

What are the going rates for a replacement windshield for an '06? I got some crazy quotes and want to see what others have had to pay. Also, has anyone had a good experience with any particular shop in the Denver area? Thanks in advance.

A new Carlite with the F150 logo installed cost me $341 a couple years ago.

$129 from the glass wholesaler, no logo. (With logo, $20 more. Funny thing is, I know it's a F150, I don't need to spend $20 to remind myself or tell other people what it is)

Took about a tube and a half of urethane, they go for about $8 each.

Or, pansy out and pay someone $300 and up to do it for you...

About the same here. Paid $350 for a windshield with the logo on it last year.

Same thing I thought last year. I called Safelite and it was around $200 installed. It was close to 400 with the F-150 logo. Replaced with a PPG windshield.

I usually call Safelite for all my replacement windshields. For my F-150's, it's been around $200 installed for a no frills PPG winsidhield with the usual blue tint up top (at my house--installed in about 1 hour).

You can get them even cheaper if you don't mind a windshield with a minor blemish (typically a very, very small void in the glass on top or bottom of the windshield).

Had the windshield on my 06 replaced 3 times. First one was warranty. 2 and 3 were rock damage. They were both $260 installed at my office. Looked identical to oem.
