Magnacharger 1/4 times

The rain finally let off enough lately to get in a few passes and wasnt too bad.

14.3 @ 95.6. It has more in it without a doubt but its just too damn hot right now. Drove 50 miles to the track and made the first pass after only about 15 min and got a 14.5 @94.2. Next pass was hot lapped and went 14.4 @95.3. Third pass I let her cool down for about 30 min but the blower was still almost too hot to touch. I would have let it sit longer but I could see rain moving in and that netted the above 14.3 @ 95.6. After that it started pouring and there was no use sticking around. I did not datalog but it would have been nice to see what the difference in IAT's were on the first and last runs. With a better cool down and some cooler weather (it was 90 degrees ambient and a DA of 2500') I have no doubts that I will get that 13 sec slip. O and btw I ran the truck as it normally sits with nothing taken out, 3/4 tank of gas, and the 24's which are 103 lbs each and my 250lb ***. O yea and I tried either launching from idle or brake torquing it to about 1500 and there was no difference and no spin.

Very nice times, especially considering that’s what the majority of… “muscle cars” of the 70’s and 80’s were running!!! I personally don’t like running with any configuration other than what my Mustang sees on the street.

FWIW, looks like the guy in the opposite lane will eventually have a low 11/high 10 second car as soon as he learns how to launch it! ( 122mph )

Do you know what your truck weighs approx? I was going to weigh mine yesterday except for the rain.

rms8-that car was an older Lexus SC with a supra motor single turbo in it but I dont know the exact specs. There are a bunch of goofballs there that shouldnt have the car they have like a guy with a gt500 last night that couldnt even get better than 13.1-seemed like there was 2 sec between shifts.

Hey! Whats up buddy? I never ever see your truck around man! I think I saw it once, but I wasnt sure haha. Do you drive that baby a lot or do I just have bad luck? I only live like 5 minutes away and I still never get to see it. Anyways, nice times man, you went to morroso? Well hopefully you'll get to let her cool down next time.

hey whats up man-yea I drive her everyday-about 8000 miles since october. Yea went up to Moroso-they were supposed to be doing a multi million dollar renovation but guess that idea is no more. Its a shame too since that track makes so much money because the next closest 1/4 is orlando or bradenton. I have been saying for years that if they could build a 1/4 track in west broward somewhere they would make a killing.

I agree the closet thing we have down here is the 1/8 on US 27. I work in Weston so i dont mind driving to better tracks especially if they open one in broward.
