The twin tailpipes come prewelded to the muffler, the tips are available seperately with a part # of 7L3Z-5255-AB with a retail price of $239.13 ea.

That price is actually for the tip assembly, we just replaced one last month in the body shop. The two tips are connected to each other with a bar welded in between each tip. We had to return the other "second" one back to Ford.

Thanks for the info...it's nice to know that the tips are only $240 for the pair. That sounds reasonable.

I made my own Harley Exhaust.

Used a Magnaflow 3" / 2.5" SI/DO (12288) and had a local shop custom bend the pipes since there isnt' an aftermarket kit (for 2007's) to put them "Harley Style" behind the rear wheel. Total cost $270, I bought the muffler from performancepeddler and used the shops tips.

Thanks for the correction, I didn't know that. Regardless, they're still unreasonable just like the rest of the "harley edition" items. Have you seen the prices on the emblems, stripes, and running boards/steps over the years?

Yeah I agree with that. I remember way back in 2001-2002, just to order the emblems you had to have the VIN for a harley truck to give to Ford to process the order. And, they were expensive as heck. That went away after a while, but Ford's just trying to prevent fakes I guess.
