Rear leveling
I have a '06 F150 2wd regular cab short bed, and the rake looks bad on my short truck. I have seen all the leveling kit for lifting the front. I was wandering about lowering the rear to get it level. I have heard about the shackles, but is that all there are? What would a new generation F150 look like with this done, any pics?

Shackles are the cheapest way to drop the rear, you can also buy dearched leaf springs, and belltech has a monoleaf rear spring that will give about a 3" drop.
If you are thinking the spring route, the dearched ones are a better option, they don't reduce your load capacity as much as the monoleafs do. |

Ground Force drop shackles. They have 2 positions and come with the pinion angle correction shims. Easy to install and cost around $100. Easy to put back to stock if you want to.

I was reading "dearched" wrong. :o Now I know what they are. I think I would just go with the shackles from ground force. Thanks.
Does anybody have pics with it done to their truck? |
I had my 2" drop installed last week. I'll have pictures of it installed this weekend.
