That was "my" truck. He "gave" it to me but apparently stole the truck back..

I guess its whatever, I never drive it anymore. Lost interest in the project.

As far as grades just go ask them. I have always known him to be fair on grading. He will always give help if your willing to help yourself a bit. I have seen him stay up there on weekend for students that are really trying.

Dribone..

Did you shave your tailgate completely all at once, or do you have a pic with just the ford emblem. I can't decide if I'm going to completely shave, or leave the ford emblem. Even thinking about airbrushing a old school ford emblem back there. I'm still waiting on my damn roll pan. Supposed to get off back order this week. I'm curious why you have not shaved your front badges yet also since you have already went this far?

at one point, i had the handle and small emblem shaved, leaving just the oval. then i used the Grant Kustoms skin to do the entire thing (by far the easiest way to go, their corner fillers are awesome as well.) I was thinkin of going old school as well, to the point of debossing the FORD from either from the 80's era or the 40's. way too much work, and there was a high risk for screwing up a $200 piece of sheetmetal. the woman and I decided against the mahogany floor with stainless inlay because i still use the truck, and the minute i throw some tools in there, i'm gonna scratch it

i think i decided on the 40's style Ford logo, but a laser cut inlay, and then Line-Xed in the bed floor. I'm in the process of gettin an oval somewheres back on the hind end.

the front emblems were done by billet badges, and i don't wanna get rid of those. its by far the one thing everyone stops to look at. they ask me if the "Hillbilly Deluxe" was a real model put out by Ford.

I was also thinkin of the 50's "V8" badge, with the real wide V, but it's still up in the air.

Huitt, I'll get some pics for ya

a bend in a link is always a weak point (like a bicycle frame), and that straight link will bend. the rear of ur truck should wiggle with that setup.

blue - what you could've did
red - what i would do, it spaces the base farther apart...much better for lateral placement. all you would need is a rubber bushing at the axle to allow for roll.

riken, the space between that bend is plated with 1/4" steel. it wasn't done at the time of the picture. i almost forgot about it while i was wrapping everything up.

jbmx, fully aired up, it sits at stock height in the front and as it would with a standard 5" drop in the rear.

Your truck looks fantastic... very well done. Lowering isn't my cup of tea but, you've definitely stepped up to the plate and have done everything right. Nice work!

Sweet ride man, it didn't use to do much for me, but now that you've basically finished it I like it a lot. Nice, CLEAN, and SIMPLE...MY kind of truck

I own a lowered truck, not bagged, but lowered quite a bit (4/6 '93 S-10). Your truck looks great, and F the haters.

This is an old pic, and it's now mostly primer black. The hideous exhaust is now a turndown before the axle. BTW, I bought it new, built it myself, and have solely financed it myself. Daddy not involved! It runs great, and I still insure/register it despite having never driven it to work since I bought the F150. It costs me nearly as much as my F150 to do so, but I love that little truck, and someday I hope to finish it. That's why it appears in a line in my sig...
