Has anyone ever compared the Road Armor, the Boondocks, and the ARB bumpers side by side?

Well they don't fit on the truck that low. It needs to sit directly below the headlights. That's what my catalog and their website shows. Even the raptor sits like this. Have you come across photos of the stealth on the 04+?

. . like many have said, it's not the correct bumper and it's not mounted right.

yeah it sit directly under the headlights and that isnt the right bumper...which i already stated.

the F-150 bumper has 1 rectangular fog on each side versus the 2 offset sized round fogs on each side.

ARB doesnt make a bumper for the F-150 yet.....they are suppsoed to come out with one this summer unless they just did then i stand corrected.

but out of all them i would go with ARB if they had one out. But i went with boondocks for the very close resemblence of the road armor and alot better price.

Is it possible to fab brackets to mount it the josiah has it mounted, I think it looks great that way, the only issue is there might be some clearance issues with tires.

If they made the style shown on the pre 04 body style pictured in this thread, I'd buy it in an instant.

http://www.roadarmor.com/ra3/ford_trucks.html

They show the Raptor style bumper, but not the Stealth. It looks like basically the 2004-2005 style driving lights are retained instead of round aftermarket ones...

And the photoshop Josiah did, or had done is WAY off. The bumper replaces the bumper cover below the headlights as well. His is pictured WAY low...

This was never meant to be aesthetically "correct" by any means. This is just my taste and how I myself would like to see it on my truck. The lights are photoshopped, it's not from the superduty. Before posting this I emailed roadarmor this image asking them to create it more like my creation (in better terms of course) and they replied with photos of it mounted on a stock F-150. The pics they emailed look better than the ones posted on their website but it's still ugly.

I will not be buying one unless they can mount it below the upper bumper, which is entirely possible. Clearance is sacrificed a little but its worth it to me.

Thanks for the compliments.

Note: The headlights were shortened in width, grill expanded for better appearance.

Maybe with that body lift your going to be doing(dont use the bumper relocation brackets) and a little modification you could mount it like that.

The only problem is that the upper bumper is mounted to the fenders as well. The easiest way would be to build a new set of brackets. It'd be a lot of test fitting to get it to fit correctly but it could be done. I just wish Road Armor would come out with the Stealth bumper for the 2004+ F-150, even getting rid of the upper bumper.

Have you guys checked out the Buckstop bumpers? The Baja model looks pretty nice, but I don't know if they make them for the 150. Seems like they only make the nice ones for the 250+. Are our trucks too weak in the IFS to handle them or something?

I wouldn't say too weak, but they would deff be put under some unneeded stress.
