I ordered a 07 FX4 supercab, does this mean it will have the 6.5ft box becuase I remember checking the 5.5ft box but then didn't know if you order the supercab then you ahve to get the 6.5ft bed...?

Supercabs can now be had with the little 5.5 midget bed So yes, you will get the 5.5 footer.

Supercabs can come in either configuration, but I'm not sure what the standard bed length is. So if you ordered it with the 5.5ft bed it will come with it.

I've got a 2004 with the 5.5' bed, and I've not once come across anything my truck couldn't do that others can. To say the 5.5' bed is near useless is a bit of an overstatement.

I haul everything I need to in my 5.5' bed using the bed extender. The weight difference won't be much between a scab 5.5' bed and a screw 5.5' bed. Probably be about 600 lbs. or less difference.

For Dirt Bike riders, the 5.5 is just too short. In a 6.5 two bikes fit (angled) with the tailgate up . If you don't need the space though, a 5.5 would be soo much better in parking lots.

why do you need the tailgate up to have dirtbikes in the truck? as long as your strapped down good, you'll be fine.

get a bed extender and you'll have ~7 ft of useable space with the 5.5' bed.

very useful, and easier for the parking lots

5.5 foot bed would be useless to me. Put a toolbox back there and you got about 4 foot of bed space. What can you do with that?? Might as well get a Honda Ridgeline.

Honestly, if people are using these trucks for work, they need to get the single cab with 8' bed or get a good utility trailer. the 5.5 and the 6.5 aren't work truck friendly.

I would have got the 6.5 bed since it will hold my raptor 700 but then the loadng ramp is too long so the tailgate will have to be down anyways... so I got the 5.5 for parking and less area to wash/wax

I do not like the 5.5ft bed. I wish I could close the tailgate with 2 jet ski's back there but it's impossible. It would be just a hair too big with the bed extender. I can go on about why I wish I had the 6.5ft but it's even difficult to sleep in the 5.5ft bed, me being 6'1"

With the amount of camping gear, coolers, and firewood I haul, the additional 1 foot of bed is worth the added parking hassle. To be honest though, I like the look of the Supercab with the shorty bed... Not sure why though.
