Starter Wire

I need to find the starter wire, anyone know which color wire it may be or have a tip on how to find it other than starting the truck while using a test light (which I am about to try).

How does it work and what are some advantages of the push button start?

Any pics? Where did you tap into power, did you get the lightup version, and what wire did you tap into for the starter?

Hey Joshia do you need a wire that turns on when the key is turned to the on possition? If so I found one in the steering column that I used for my second battery solenoid. Let me know and I can see what color it is.

Do not use just ANY switched wire for powering the push button. Take a look at the size of the power wire for your ignition switch (light green/violet and red/light blue). There is a reason those wires are so much bigger-because of the amount of current they carry.

I'd bet the reason you are blowing your radio power is because you're drawing waaaaaaaaaay too much power through the circuit.

I'll have to check on those wire colors for you. I want to say that I tapped the power wire for the headlights or the radio. I had to tap the starter wire and run the ignition through the switch. It is kind of mess down there bc I have this switch that cuts of the starter off.
