I am looking at a black 07 GT today or tomarrow, if I buy I will be slapping on a procharger or whipple within the first month to get into the mid 11's on stock tires

hey, Ridge is right. A 4.6 can whoop the 5.4 3v every single time. I do it on a daily basis. I can even beat the Supercharged 5.4 3v guys without any problems at all.

in a Mustang GT. My 5.4 did pull on my Mustang once (wife was driving the truck). Then I noticed I was only at 1/4 throttle (I was driving the Mustang). Hammer down and the car took off like a rocket and the truck was still in 2nd gear.

here is my interior. need to get some leather.

There is no way a 4.6 TRUCK can beat the 5.4 3v if both trucks are the same style (reg cab, Scab, Screw). Maybe, if a 5.4 is driven like a 80 year old lady drives it. Then the transmission can adapt to that style. Oh yeah, it needs to be a SuperCrew with 6.5' bed. Then you can come along in your regular cab with 5.5' bed. You autta win by a length or 2.
I believe you did beat a 5.4 2v, in a truck that is a few hundred pounds heavier than yours and almost the same HP #'s. Get your facts straight and quick BS'ing yourself. You've been posting alot of crap. And then when questioned, you post more crap and can't even verify your facts before you spout.
btw, the real order of fast cars is:
1. Trans Am WS6 / Firehawk
2. Cobra
3. T/A or SS Camaro
4. Mach 1
5. Mustang GT
I love my GT, but I know the facts for what they are. 281 cubes vs 349 cubes. The Mach1 need more cubes to be competative. The Cobra needs the smaller pulley for more boost and a better tune = 500 RWHP. Then it can take the T/A WS6 with no problems. the #3 and #4 spot are interchangeable depending on the driver.
There is no replacement for displacement.

common, you know a cobra whoops a transam
Cobra is a better car anyways. Especially when you start modding Look at their values to this day, a high mileage one is still way over 20grand, I could go out and buy a transam for 15grand or less
here is a good site to find cars 0-60 and 1/4 mile times, of course you cant go exactly by it but they all seem correct.

transam 0-60 in 4.9
cobra 0-60 in 4.5

I am not going to even begin arguing the Cobra vs. LSX cars so Superfx4heres some more pics of my old car
Did a Boss330 motor with 2.6 KB after I was done playing around with the bottle but never made it to the track.

and even the new 05+ gts arnt faster then a Ta power wise, i mean they make 300chp and around 265whp but it does become a drivers race with them, like ive said before, ford needs to quit playing and put a 6.2 boss engine in a mustang and call it a day.
Wow. I need some scuba gear to get around in all this BS.
Many Cobra guys put solid axles in the rear, but MANY more kept it stock. The IRS is stronger than alot think. One of the supporting vendors for F150online has a Cobra with the IRS that he plans on getting into the 9's with.. already running low 10's.
