Rake...

I'm unsure if I like the rake on my truck.

Here's a good pic:

Now... what would be the cheapest? Lift the front? Or lower the rear?

I'm taking that it will be about the same.

I have mixed feelings about being level and being raked.

I remember back in high school when I was younger, having the rear end lifted like crazy and the front lowered with the huge rake was the thing.

I don't know about what's cheaper, but IMO you should go with a leveling kit up front to level it out.

You know... good point. I forgot that picture was the day I got her... shoot. Not a good picture on my part. I've got like 600+ lbs of tools in it now (and they will never come out unless I clean the bed). Since it's night time, I'll take a new one in the morning. It might be sitting level. But in that picture, it just looks soooo raked.

Thanks for the comment.

That's what I'm thinking... but let me get a new picture.

Don't laugh... I'm only 5'2" and weigh 114 lbs. (Last month I weighed 120 lbs... and I've been eating like a horse, drinking beer, and eating TONS of junkfood... and lost weight.)

I wish I was that lucky I'm 6'3" and weigh 190lbs give or take a few.
but when you consider I can bench my own weight it makes up for itself I guess.

A 2" leveling kit will take care of it!

Honestly, I think a 2" leveling kit would be too much. I'd go with the 1-1/2" Autospring, it'd be perfect for your truck!

Drop the rear. It will ride better and you don't have to worry about screwing up the front end down the road. No alignment needed when you drop the back, either, so it's cheaper.

Bench your own weight Im 350lb and can bench more than my weight

Anyway, a 2" drop the rear is like a $100 for the kit and your truck is 2wd. Thats what im doing to my xl. and like kd4crs said it will be cheaper in the end.

That's what I thought. Would look nice dropped. It's like what someone on here has... "What goes up, must come down. Gravity works on my truck." LOL.
