Yeah I haven't had any problems spinning my tires either and especially now w/ my Edge Evo, I tend to do it unintentionally from time to time.
I wonder what they do with the trucks once they are done mod-ing them out like they do. They always build them up but ever say what happens to them after the show....

I remember that a viewer asked that same question once when Stacey David was still on the show... His answer was that they all get sent to the wrecker/crusher. Reason being had something to do with the manufacturer's (ie Ford) not allowing them to be owned by anyone after they were modded... Didn't make much sense to me, but that was the answer...

Exactly, that is why he started funding the show out of his pocket. I think the last two seasons he was on "trucks" all the projects were his vehicles. Now he has his own show called "Gearz" on ESPN 2.

I am glad you posted that. I was hoping Stacy would come back with another show. Those 2 butt buddies on Trucks are annoying me no end. The spend so much time pandering to the sponsers and acting as if the viewer is completely retarded.

although, I guess a good percentage is challenged...it is Spike TV after all...

Here in So Cal, it's on ESPN2HD Monday nights. I just watched 2 episodes a few hours ago. This was the first time that I've seen his new show. It's pretty good, but I didn't find them as entertaining as when he was on Trucks!

They should put the vehicles up for auction... all Ford would have to say is that they won't warrant the product, which doesn't matter because like the guy on Trucks said " Roush backs their system and your vehicle 100% even if you do the install yourself"

the episode w/ the 3 banks stages they installed, they did a dyno run before and after each stage of modding.

the baseline dyno for the 5.4 was 202 rwhp, and i think 345 rwhp w/ the intercooled s/c.

the #'s Trucks posted were crap...33" tires with 20" rims and 202 rwhp at 5100 rpm

most people get ~240 rwhp with stock tires/rims. the larger rims really affect your power. besides, I'm sure they dyno'd the motor hot and then did the "post" dyno with the motor cold to get more impressive results. I'd like to see the whole dyno chart, not just the little section they showed. I'm betting there were better #'s to be had.

You pretty much have to discount most things the Trucks guys say. Or at least remove most of the fluff first because they're doing it for money first, consumer second.

Not hardly, 3v 5.4's range from 195-220 rwhp stock, with most around 205-210.
