I haven't seen the episode yet. Is this one where they use all the Banks components? They've already done 1 supercharger episode.

sweet...I can't wait to see it (I've got it Tivo'd)

I can't imagine having an F-150 with enough power to burnout on command...not just when it's wet out.

how much for that lower valance and the rear bumper painted black? I think that would look sweet with some HD Lights on my truck.

Lightning guys have been doing it for ever. Just a smaller pully on the eaton.

500HP at the engine... MAYBE.

I know its just a smaller pulley, but they talked like it was some type of upgrade kit from roush, that probably includes a new PCM flash or something.

Yeah I checked it out while I was painting my bedroom, a bit of a distractor but nice to see no doubt. Even though I could SC my truck it still makes me miss my Lightning and is not the same. I regret getting rid of that truck more then being married twice (#3 now, lol)

Adding a smaller upper pulley (on the blower itself) will increase boost just as adding a larger lower pulley(on the crank) does. The only downfall is that a smaller upper can cause some belt slippage as it increases the angle of the belt by decreasing the radius it must follow. I had a 6# lower and a 1# upper on my Lighting which enabled me to see as much as 17# of boost on a cool day. ( I would not have done so without Mike T's tuning)To create the additional 55HP as they were claiming over the advertised 445HP Roush claims, it would have to be an awful small pulley....1# of boost is around 8-11HP if I remember correctly....

The one thing that really bugs me about TrucksTV is they always talk HP#s as in flywheel HP. The average joe see Trucks and says "I want a 500HP F150" and thinks he's gonna have a truck with 500Real world ponies.

Just like the Episode where they put nitrous on the truck and said "This truck now has 400 HP.. that's corvette territory". Give me a break.

I think it's because of the variables in regards to rwhp. Gear ratio, tire and wheel size. Some guy gets mad because his F150 with 3.55 gears and 35" tires don't hit the same hp as a 3.73 geared F150 with smaller tires.

It's just a safer more consistent place to measure the hp.

Very true. They should at least say Fly wheel HP. Just to clarify.

The first part pissed me off they said it couldnt even burn its own tires stock. I could light my tires up stock power breaking heck I still turn mine over no problem with stock gearing. Some guy in a titan was acting bad on 33 at this party when we all left. I left crying about my tires but I had to stick up for ford..
