I got the AF1, but I would get whatever makes you happy, if you like the AEM or the S&B. I doubt there is a whole lot of difference. Of course, I'm new, and probably wrong... But if you go to some of the other 150 sites, you don't hear all the hype about the AF1, they talk about all kinds of other intakes, so I'm sure that there are some other good ones out there.

FX4LIFE - I'm going to assume since you posted your SAT score, that you know 1600 is the highest score you could get. So you were being sarcastic??? Your truck looks pretty tough by the way. That's some sweet snow spray

When I took it a year ago the highest you could make was a 2400, because they added new sections. But a 1600 used to be the highest you could make and was considered perfect. that was my understanding cause I took it many times till I became very satisfied with my scores.

Who would you rather listen to?

An idependent who can (and does) sell & USE what works best in these trucks? One who can sell whatever he wants?

Or, the manufacturer - who wll basically tell you anything to sell the product?

TP tests EVERYTHING - INDEPENDENTLY. You see the results in that thread.

Sure - it's your truck. Surely, if have you enough dough to call S&B, you also have enough to get a second opinion & call TP. THEN decide.

And, after having done all that, you do not think a tune is warranted, then okay. But at least you will KNOW.

If by trying to get this single message across - SEEK another OPINION - is being a zombie, then I'm sorry for you... nothing could be further from the truth.

FX4life - I apologize for the slight - I was in a rather foul mood. Please, just ask them first. No strings.

Bubba

Ya no kidding!! Try to find an intake for a 2007 F150, the only people that make it so far is Airaid. That would be p/n: 400-140-2 for those that are interested, the 400-140-1 is not for the 2007. I guess that something has changed between 06 and 07...

I got mine from Jegs for $230 shipped 2nd day air because they price matched another internet site selling for the same price. It makes a noticable difference.
