Exclamation Help! Semi-successfully installed...

This afternoon I installed a door assembly with a keypad in my truck. Re-Assembled and put everything back together. Everything works: locks, windows, unlocking, locking, but the keypad doesn't work. Checked for fuses and could not find a specific fuse but every one i did find was good.

Why is my keypad not working???

If you did not have the keypad from the factory, it will have to be programmed into the computer. Do a search, someone did this mod about a year and a half ago.

if its just not unlocking/locking then it needs to be programmed, but if its not lighting up then i assume some electrical problem.

I installed it this afternoon and I haven't had a chance to see if it will light up. I wonder if there is a fuse that has to be added???

I found this old thread:
https://www.f150online.com/forums/sh...keypad+install

Look at #4

Will this program my keypad or is that just for the remotes? Or is it a definite dealer trip?

My truck didn't come with a keypad but when I installed my Mark LT doorhandles all I did was plug it in to the wiring harness in the door and the keypad worked.I didn't have to program it or add fuses or anything.
